Donald Moorhead

Donald Moorhead was born in 1950 and has lived and studied in both Auckland and Dunedin.

His works have been exhibited and sold throughout New Zealand. Donald’s preferred medium is oil on board; his work often has textural qualities with gold leaf incorporated.

His subjects include landscapes, interiors and figurative work in a surrealistic style.

In 2004, Donald won first prize in the Hope and Son's Art awards.
