Fraser Williamson
Fraser Williamson trained as a graphic artist at Auckland University of Technology. His work ranges from paintings of soul and dream images to children’s books, editorial and packaging icons.
The six years he spent in Tonga, is strongly reflected in his work with the inclusion of Pacific landscape replete with fish, angels and unique forms.
“As an illustrator and painter, I want to produce visual pleasure in the form of a dreamlike parable that amuses and creates interest whilst also suggesting the more universal themes of our lives, such as desire, provision and grace.”
Alongside working with family who specialise in graphic arts and web page design, Fraser has illustrated a number of books and has been commissioned for various painting projects.
Fraser lives in Auckland and life spent between Spain, Tonga and New Zealand nourishes both the heart and his work.
