Philip
Beadle
Philip works in oil, water colour, drypoint
and monotype. He enjoys working with form, colour and light,
especially low winter and evening light which facilitates
the wide tonal range in which he relishes.
Living
in Christchurch Philip finds the city scapes, Canterbury
plains and mountains an immediate source of inspiration.
He meets regularly with a life drawing group and the female
nude forms a large part of his work.
