Suzy Platt

Suzy Platt is a remarkably talented artist from Dunedin. She has been painting and exhibiting in local galleries for over 10 years and has developed into one of our most sought after and respected artists. She has had several very successful shows, including solo and group exhibitions.
Her works are predominately portraits of young girls, painted in oil on canvas/board. They are all finished to a very high standard with a final layer of varnish to both protect the work and highlight the variety of blended colours included in her pieces. Her works are identifiably unique - and often people see and fall in love with so much more than just the subject matter of her paintings. Suzy is from a strong artistic family and has been a full time artist for several years. Currently in her mid 30's, it is remarkable to think she has many decades of painting ahead of her.
Suzy's works appeal to a wide market - her pieces have been sold to investment art groups, international buyers as well as to numerous local admirers, and the prices her works are fetching reflect the growing demand for them. Gallery De Novo is also proud to be supporting Suzy and introducing her to the international art market, with her paintings being shown in major art shows and galleries in the U.K and Australia.

We are pleased to announce the release of a booklet celebrating the past 10 years of work by Suzy Platt. The book highlights the variety of different styles and influences that have shpaed Suzy's work and is a valuable tool to all collectors and followers of her work.
