Steve BELLAMY

Steve Bellamy graduated from Ilam School of Fine Arts in 1980 specialising in Graphic Design.  After completing his degree he entered a 4 year apprenticeship in graphic design in Christchurch, involving himself in murals, billboards and sign illustration.

After a move to Nelson, Steve started his own graphic design business, and after raising his children became a fulltime contemporary landscape painter.

“I am inspired by my family to continue to paint in acrylics and develop a style of my own”

Steven's two daughters Michelle and Caroline are talented artists too, and we are delighted to represent three members of this artistic family at Gallery De Novo.
