Kees Meeuws & David Burke

Kees Meeuws and David Burke have collaborated together on concept, design, drawing and printing of these beautiful art prints, which focus on whanau, ancestry, warriors, the union of mind and spirit and our land, Aotearoa.

A graduate from Otago School of Art, David has over 20 years experience in art, design and advertising and is now based in Auckland. Kees is well-known as a former All Black and Otago Rugby player, however he has strong roots in art ... something that has only recently become public knowledge with the release of these limited edition prints.

The silver series was released in time for the 2011 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand and have been sent to Ireland, Georgia, USA, England, Germany, Qatar, Australia, France, Canada - and all over New Zealand! 

In 2015: Meeuws and Burke released a new set of limited edition prints incorporating unique Maori design into the words - Aroha, Whanau, Aotearoa and Whenua.
