Liz Knowles

Liz is a Dunedin based artist.  We have as part of our gallery collection a selection of her large scale ceramic pencils.  These 'big pencils' can be wall hung - each piece is hand made, so "unique, warm and bent.... they are beautiful and cheeky and inquisitive and alive". 

Ceramic stained and glazed. Pencils with the silver also feature platinum lustre.

There are angled holes on the back of each pencil, making it easy to hang on a decent nail or screw on the wall, facing either up or down or sideways.

Liz has also started making one off ceramic rings. These are truly unique, and sturdy to wear often. We have these available in store for you to try on.
